Onsite Services can supply fully qualified electricians who are able to professionally carry out any household electrical work, from the installation of a 13/amp socket outlet or additional lighting point, to the complete rewiring of your home. Since the first of January 2005, most work embarked on within a domestic wiring system must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Their job once the work is complete, is to issue the appropriate certification and to notify your local authority. This “Competent Person Scheme” as it is officially known, was brought into effect for safety reasons and those who are accredited with either the NICEIC Approved Contractor or Domestic Installer logo are legally empowered to carry out such work. |
